If you want a synopsis of the book, read the one posted by Amazon because I see no reason to be redundant. I don't like romance, so I won't read any other author's other books, but i do enjoy paranormal/supernatural stories like this one. It was a most interesting concept, and I loved the story. Just really sorry that there isn't another in the series out yet. In addition to being a very interesting story with a good plot and good characters, I did not find myself constantly thrown out of the story line because of incorrect language usage or glaring errors. (For example, many authors these days don't seem to have any idea of the differences between words such as their, there, and they're. Or the correct tense to use with words like lie, lay, laid, etc.) Very irritating, but I didn't find it in this book. If she writes another in this series, I'll definitely be buying it!Product details

Really liked this book. I hope there will be more in this series.
I'm a picky reader, and very FEW books merit a full five stars, but I'm happy to give it a 4 star review. This book was a page turner. The character development is thorough and you find yourself rooting for Maggie and wishing you could give her a hug through her harrowing ordeal. A fun, quick read.
Loved it and look forward to the next book. Found Maggie's journey exiting and thought provoking, how amazing to have such spiritual contact.
I have fallen in love with this author! This is a totally book from her very poignant series! I loved the multi-layers of the story! Bravo for taking on an unusual story with a unusual twist!!! It made my reading week
A great fun read, hard to put down. Maggie is believable as a mature-beyond-her-years high school senior who is trying to make tuition money as a psychic who doesn't believe in psychics. Until she starts getting visits from ghosts! When she tells the police what she knows, SHE gets arrested. What follows, and the different reactions of all the people around her, show a lot about human nature. In many ways the relationships are more important than the visits from the ghost. A fun and thoughtful read.
Maggie a part time psychic and by day high school student, learned the hardest way who she could trust with her psychic abilities. Wonderful book I did not want to put down. I look forward to the next book in this series. There truly is life after death ;)
Maggie Rising in your typical young adult novel. It starts out a little slow. Maggie's character is wonderfully developed. The basic plot is that Maggie speaks with the ghost of a young murdered girl to help find her killer. The friendship between the victim and Maggie is bittersweet. The book is a good escape or diversion for the day or two it takes to read the novel. Young adults will like the book as the characters are high school students. Young adults will be able to relate to the characters. This is a great book for those 14 or up due to the violence of the victim's murder.
